Training Sessions

Groups training sessions are organised by lecturers with library staff.  However students are welcome to organise group training directly with library staff.  Just call to the Library Desk, phone 0949043146 or email librarymayo.galwaymayo@atu.ie

Drop-in training sessions usually take place in both the first and second term.  No need to book, just turn up.  These sessions are well advertised on library and departmental noticeboards, the library Facebook page, the Events Calendar on the Library website and  also by text and email.

One to one help is part of the library's day to day service so please ask for help when needed.

  • Training sessions take place either Online or in the Library Training/Group Study Room on the first floor.
  • When not in use for training students may book it for group project work and to practice presentations.  The room is equipped with an LCD screen, PC and  a whiteboard (please ask for markers at the library desk).  Click here to book the Group Study Room.
