This guide will help you learn about the facilities and services available in ATU Library Galway-Mayo.

Our libraries are located at the following locations

• Galway City - Dublin Road
• Galway City - Wellpark Road
• Mayo
• Connemara

Getting Started

To start using the wealth of resources and services offered by ATU libraries, you need:

• Your ATU Student Card - Use when visiting your campus library and borrowing books and other library material

• Your ATU Login Credentials - Use for logging in to computers and signing into the library's online collections - it's your ATU email address and network password!

You will receive your student card and login credentials once you have registered.

Membership

How do I join the library?

• If you are a ATU student, you're already a member! Your ATU ID card is also you library card. Use it to access the library and borrow books.
• If you are a ATU staff member we'll set you up with a library card and account.
• If you are a member of the public, please see our website for more information about joining.

Code of Conduct

We aim to create a friendly study environment in the library. As a courtesy to your fellow users, please remember the following…

• Maintain silence in study areas.
• Set your mobile phone to silent. Please leave the library to make or receive calls.
• No food or drink apart from bottled water.
