Groups training sessions are organised by lecturers with library staff. However students are welcome to organise group training directly with library staff. Just call to the Library Desk, phone 0949043146 or email librarymayo.galwaymayo@atu.ie
Drop-in training sessions usually take place in both the first and second term. No need to book, just turn up. These sessions are well advertised on library and departmental noticeboards, the library facebook page and by text and email also.
One to one help is part of the library's day to day service so please ask for help when needed.
Visit us in person and introduce yourself at the library desk or ask any member of staff.

Training in the library
The library offers a range of training sessions to students and staff. When Onsite we will show you:
Introduction to eResources
This is aimed at our first year students or offered as a refresher to continuing years. It's purpose is to introduce students to our range of databases, ejournals, ebooks and websites which will be useful to them during their course of study at ATU.
eResource Training
This is aimed at our continuing students, particularly those in third and fourth year. It's purpose is to build on the introductory session, to find the best resources to meet your needs, to provide research tips, and give pointers on Referencing and Citation.
