Search for books and ebooks in Search + Find, our library discovery service.
When you find the book you want you’ll see a class or shelf number; for print books this will help you find it in the library. For eBooks, simply click on the 'Full Text' link to read it online or download it.
If you know what you're looking for, then use the authors' surname and a word or two from the title: try to choose unique ones. For instance, type in kotler marketing.
Alternatively, you can search using subject words: try starting with marketing management e.g. and use the filter in the left-hand column to narrow down your search.

The easiest way to locate books in the library is to use the search box located on most library web pages, called Search + Find.
Library books are shelved according to subject area, using a numerical arrangement known universally as the Dewey Decimal system. Some useful class (shelf) numbers include:
When you do a search in Search + Find, it will indicate the shelf or class number where the book is located. In some cases this will also show the first three letters of the authors surname, in order to more easily locate the material you are searching for.
Please remember with regard to books, items shelved from 001 to 499 and from 700 to 999 are located on the ground floor of the Galway campus library, and those from 500 to 699 are on the first floor
